Graham's 1st birthday!!

Last week we celebrated Graham's 1st birthday! On Thursday we met Ayden uptown for lunch and watched the Bernstein bears perform. Graham loved watching the stuffed bears sing and dance and it got us in the spirit of the holidays. We opened presents once Ayden got home from work and Graham loved his train play rug, Thomas the Train set and of course more trucks to play with (he LOVES truck trucks!) Saturday we had his birthday party at home and Graham was surrounded by family and friends and had such a great time. He loved smashing his cake and opening all his new gifts. I have to say, I think his favorite thing of all were the balloons! (note to self: next year just buy a cheap cake and lots of balloons!) He's a lucky little boy to have such great friends and family!!!

Looking back at pictures we are reminded just how much our little guy has grown and changed in just one short year. We are so fortunate that he's been a healthy, happy baby. The first year really did fly by so quickly and our little baby is now a toddler!! We looked through his baby book on his birthday and laughed as we recollected on what the first few weeks and months were like. There were so many sleepless nights, and dealing with the acid reflux and spit ups and messy diaper changes-my oh my! It didn't take long to get adjusted to being a family of 4 (we can't leave out our first baby, Lucy) and we simply could not imagine life now without our little boy. He brings us so much happiness and we look forward to many, many more birthdays to come!!
