Graham turns 3!

This past weekend we celebrated Graham's 3rd birthday at home in Charlotte.  It's still so hard to believe he's 3 years old and all of a sudden seems like such a BIG boy, no longer a little baby.

We had a fire truck themed birthday party and although the local firemen weren't able to stop by and let us play in the fire truck (bummer!) Graham still had a great time and loved being with his friends and family and of course, opening all his presents!

Graham is such a smart, sweet boy and he loves playing with all of his trucks and cars more than anything else. Matchbox cars are his newest obsession, I bet we own 100.  He's a daddy's boy for sure but loves his mama too.  Now that Anne Holland is walking they have become good friends-they chase each other all over the house screaming and laughing.  Sometimes he shocks us with how well he can talk and put sentences together.  His knowledge of cars and trucks is pretty impressive.  I don't know how many 3 year olds can actually say "Volkswagen" let alone always correctly point out when they see one.  He also told me the other day one of the trucks in his book is an articulated truck (whatever that means) and don't get him started on Porsche 911's and Mustang GT 40's- he knows his stuff!  My new favorite expressions he says are "absolutely" and "that's so wee-dic-ulous". He's still my picky little eater (favorite "foods" are snickerdoodle muffins and grilled cheese sandwiches from Firehouse subs, healthy I know) but he isn't wasting away. He really enjoys school now and has become so independent and more confident from his time at CCK.  Happy birthday to our sweet little "chief".  Next adventure now that he's a big bog- potty training...

Enjoy pictures from the party!

Graham was just a "little" excited when his "girlfriend" from school, Avery, showed up to the party.
Baby sister had fun at the party too
