He is starting to have a big imagination and it's so entertaining for us to see him pretend and play with his toys. Yesterday his Captain Hook figurine kept telling Graham to go to time-out, and he happily obliged. Peter Pan is one of his new favorite movies and his favorite parts in the movie are when Peter Pan or the crocodile are chasing after silly Captain Hook! He just laughs out loud watching the movie, so funny.
Graham is such a smart little boy. He knows all his colors, can count to 20 and knows all his shapes. He loves music and singing but does not enjoy music class. I think he is like his father and doesn't enjoy being too silly ;-) He's not really into art these days, although he did like doing art at school. He loves playing outdoors. When it's time for daddy to mow the grass Graham gets out his lawnmower and blower and helps him get the job done. It's hard to get him to sit still long enough to read books, but before nap and bedtime we sit and read together. He is still a pretty picky eater but lately he's been asking for fruit (big change!) and he's loving bananas, grapes and watermelon. Vegetables (and pretty much anything other than breakfast foods, sandwiches, mac 'n cheese and chicken nugget)s are not really eaten. He is the definition of a strong-willed child, and as challenging as that can be at times I do like that even at a young age he knows what he likes and what he wants. He is an independent thinker for sure! I hope that means he's going to be a strong leader one day. He brings us so much joy and it saddens both Ayden and me to think how quickly he is changing from our baby boy to a big boy. Next on the list of things to tackle in toddler-hood: sleeping in a big boy bed and potty training!
