This summer has been flying by for us! After our week in HHI Ayden resigned from his job at Wells Fargo and took a new job with PNC. We are really excited about his new role and the opportunities that come along with it. The BEST part was that he was able to spend 2 weeks at home with us so the kids and I had LOTS of daddy time!! We squeezed in a trip to Aiken for Father's Day but we mostly enjoyed time having daddy home every day with us. His new job is going well and we are so proud of him but sure do miss having him home!
Graham is taking swim lessons this summer and I've also been taking both kids to a music class. We are headed to Edisto next week to vacation with Ayden's family. I feel like we will blink and school will be starting again.
Anne Holland is getting so big and her personality is really starting to shine. She is so darn cute and sweet I swear I could just kiss and hug her all day! She says "mama", "dada" and "baba", she can wave, clap her hands and blow kisses. At almost 10 months old she is still not crawling. She is totally capable but just has no desire to crawl yet! She gets around by scooting so maybe she will skip crawling all together and just walk-we will see! She has started eating table foods and likes most everything, except peas.
Graham is really becoming a big boy before our eyes. At 2 1/2 he is all boy! He is starting to find humor in falling down and running into things, etc., only things boys really think are funny. He is also starting to have a vivid imagaintion. He cracks us up with some of the things he pretends and says. He loves playing with his cars and trucks-no big change there. We've started collecting match box cars for him and he honestly just loves any toy with wheels. Anne Holland has started noticing how fun his toys are too so we are learning to "share" at our home :-)
Here are pictures from the past month-hope everyone enjoys this special holiday!!!
We hopped around like monkeys and bribed Graham with jelly beans and after 100 pictures we did not get one single one of them smiling or both looking at the camera :-(
LOVE catching sweet moments like this between these two...
Finally enough hair for a bow, sort of...
It's getting impossible to take these pictures. Just like her brother did, she just wants to eat the signs!
She loves her Bashful Bunny. She squeals and lights up when she holds it, so sweet!
